Linear Integration

Connect each Boarbs organization to its own Linear workspace from Settings → Integrations.

An organization admin authorizes Linear, then selects one Linear team. Boarbs creates a default status map from Linear workflow status types to your Boarbs statuses.

If Linear OAuth is not configured for the deployment, the Integrations page shows that configuration is unavailable instead of offering the authorization button.

Review the Status Map

After a team is connected, Settings → Integrations shows one Linear card. The connection (workspace, team, Connected badge, and Disconnect) is at the top. The status map is in the same card, below that connection row.

The default map is ready as soon as you select a team. Linear statuses are mapped to Boarbs statuses for inbox, planned, in-progress, completed, and canceled work.

You can edit the map on that Linear card to match your team's workflow, then use Save map. For statuses that share a Boarbs status, you can also choose which Linear status Boarbs uses for changes sent to Linear.

Link a Post to Linear

Open a post and use the Linear section to:

• create a new Linear issue from the post
• search for and link an existing issue from the selected team
• open the linked issue in Linear
• unlink the issue

Each post can link to one Linear issue.

Several posts in the same organization can share one Linear issue and stay synchronized with it.

When posts are merged, a source issue link moves to the surviving post if it does not already have one. If both posts are linked, the survivor keeps its existing link and the source link is removed.

Two-Way Status Sync

After an issue is linked, status changes synchronize automatically:

• changing the Linear issue status updates the linked Boarbs post
• changing the Boarbs post status updates the linked Linear issue

You do not need to run a separate sync after changing a status.

Disconnect Linear

Organization admins can disconnect the workspace from the same Linear card in Settings → Integrations.
