Product changelog software that lives next to your feedback
Most changelog tools are a separate blog. Boarbs changelog is an optional workspace module: write an entry from a completed post, publish it, and the same customers who voted can read what shipped — on the portal, in the widget, and in the embed.

Ship notes get lost in a marketing blog nobody subscribed to
You shipped the thing people asked for. The announcement went to Twitter, a changelog subdomain, and maybe an email. The people who voted on the original post never saw it.
Changelog is a different vendor
Olvy, LaunchNotes, or a static site cannot see your votes. You copy-paste titles and hope the right users notice.
Users do not know something new shipped
Without an in-product indicator, changelog is appointment reading. An unread dot on the widget is how you interrupt politely.
Completed posts never become a story
A status change to Complete is not an announcement. Someone still has to write the customer-facing note. That should start from the post.
An optional module on the surfaces you already installed
Turn Changelog on in Settings → General. Create an entry from a completed post. Published entries appear on the portal, the widget Changelog tab, and the embed. The widget launcher can show a red dot until the visitor opens new entries.
Write from a completed post
After a post is Complete, create a changelog entry. You write the title and body. The post stays linked so the request-to-ship path is visible.
Portal, widget, and embed
One module, three surfaces. When Changelog is off, it appears nowhere. When it is on, you are not maintaining three announcement UIs.
Unread state on the widget
Anonymous last-seen stays in the browser. Identified embed sessions can persist it. Boarbs.on("unread") and Boarbs.hasUnseenChangelog() report the same state.
Off until you want it
Changelog is optional. Feedback boards work without it. Turn it on when you are ready to announce, not on day one.
Pairs with the public roadmap
Roadmap is the plan. Changelog is the ship note. Users who voted can follow both without a second product.
Not a placeholder. A real Boarbs surface.
Changelog belongs on the same portal and widget as the board — not a forgotten subdomain.
Related product pages, docs, and comparisons
Each landing is one intent. These links go to the matching feature, the setup article, or a competitor comparison when that search is nearby.
