Email Footer and Branding
Every outbound email includes a Boarbs footer by default. Pro workspaces can hide it without changing workspace name, logo, or colors.
Auth and product emails from Boarbs use your workspace branding and, by default, a short footer.
What Recipients See
Each email shows:
- your workspace name
- your workspace logo when you have uploaded one
- your primary color and email theme
- a footer that reads Feature board powered by Boarbs and links to https://boarbs.com
The footer is on by default for every plan, including Pro.
Remove Boarbs Branding
Remove Boarbs branding hides only that footer. It does not add extra white-label options.
Open Settings → General and use the Branding card.
- Free and Starter cannot turn the footer off
- Pro (and Enterprise) can enable Remove Boarbs branding
- Clearing the setting puts the footer back
If you are not on Pro, the control stays disabled and points to billing.
What Stays Branded
Hiding the footer never removes:
- organization name
- organization logo
- primary color
- email theme (light or dark)
Those still come from Settings → General.
Subjects Include the Real Post Title
Status, comment, completed, merged, and closed emails put the post title in the subject line. Recipients see the title, not a leftover {postTitle} placeholder.
